“Isabel is a strategic and innovative thinker. Under her leadership as Board President, we embarked on our district’s first Strategic Plan, for which could not previously garner support. This plan created broad consensus and ownership of our district’s antiracist and equity principles, as well as providing measurable outcomes for all students against a promise of excellence. She has served on the Facilities Master Plan committee, as well as serving multiple years on our Facilities Bond Oversight Committee. In these forums and on the dais, she has brought environmental justice principles into our facilities discussions, guiding us foward more sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings and playgrounds for all of our students. Her efforts have not only enhanced our learning environments but have also improved our community health and wellbeing.”
Bridget Watson
“ I wholeheartedly endorse Isabel Jubes-Flamerich for another four years as a trustee that serves Trustee Area 2 and the entire district attendance boundaries. She is student-centered and brings relevant and important topics to the public forum. Her service on the Sunnyvale School Board has advanced policies to responsively serve our historically underserved Hispanic/Latino student populations. She is equity-minded and seeks to listen to all stakeholders so she can make well-informed decisions about policy regarding diverse student populations across Sunnyvale SD schools. Thank you for your continued service, Isabel.”
Peggy Shen Brewster
“Sunnyvale School Board is lucky to have such an outstanding person, Isabel Jubes-Flamerich should be on the Board”

“Isabel has been a role model for me since we met over eight years ago. She showed me how to become more involved in my community and how to be a great mother to my children. Over the years she has championed education and advocated for my kids in many different ways. I admire her involvement in environmental causes, art and culture. Isabel is my friend, a colleague in Boy Scouts, a role model in the community, the voice for my kids in education and someone I admire very much. I wholeheartedly endorse her for reelection to the School Board.”
Joanna Laney
“In CLSBA, Isabel has been integral in the organization’s continued growth. She has proven to be dedicated, hardworking, and tenacious, which has made her an asset to CLSBA. She has worked on various committees, ensuring the success of events like our annual Unity Conference, as well as worked to ensure our luncheon (held during CSBA’s annual conference) and regional events give our members important content, as well as provide fun opportunities to network and build relationships. She has worked collaboratively with her CLSBA colleagues, while not shying away from being honest and critical, offering ideas and solutions, all for the betterment of the organization. She has earned all of our respect and admiration.”

Since then, she’s helped me navigate local politics. She encouraged me to join the Commission on the Status is Women, and been an ever present voice for education, women’s rights and advocacy. Isa is a professional with strong integrity, an educator, an advocate for education rights and an active member of the community. I endorse her and stand behind her vision 100%”
